History

In 1992 Agam Sahni a freshman in high school develops an Indian picture website. The website features one site for Indian actors and another for Indian Actresses. The websites contains about 50 pictures total and took a long time to load on a 28.8 modem.

Then a year later in 1993 Agam Sahni adds onto the website this time adding a main welcome site. Since there weren't any Bollywood sites around at the time on the Internet he named it the "official homepage of Indian Actors and Actresses". The website was a hit with Indian web users. Later in 1993 Agam Sahni split the picture pages into individual pictures pages so that people could get the pictures some what faster via the phone line.

In 1994 Agam Sahni forms the Agam Corporation which quickly transforms the "official homepage of Indian Actors and Actresses into Bollywood Zone. The website grows at a fast rate and goes down in history as the first bollywood site on the Internet.

In 1995 a Bollywood chatroom is added to Bollywood Zone.

In 1996 an audio section full of Hindi music links and a huge Bollywood links site opens.

In 1999 Agam Sahni and Dilip Goswami launch Indianwatchdog to combat the huge amount of pirated DVDs of Indian movies

In 2000 Agam Sahni takes full control of Indianwatchdog and makes it part of the Agam Corporation

In 2003 Agam Digital launches.
